Now that you’ve created an amazing video that captures the spirit of your company and connects with your customers, you’ll want to share it with the world. After all, what good is a video if nobody sees it? There are a number of video channels to promote your content and engage your audience. Here are a few places to start:

1. TV Commercials

A commercial on TV is a great way to get your video in front of a large audience. By next year, video ad spending is projected to increase from $1.97 billion to $5.71 billion. Clearly, this market is continuing to grow, and it’s worth taking advantage of.

2. Online ads

It’s a very smart strategy to advertise your video online to quickly establish your product and your brand. As we know, most people use search engines to find what they’re looking for online. Forrester findings show that the chance of your site being listed on page one of a Google search increases 53 times with a video. That’s huge! On top of that, eConsultancy estimates that videos in universal search results have a 41% higher click-through rate than plain-text results. In other words, video will help you get on Google’s good side, and that’s great for everyone.

3. Social Media

If you don’t have one already, create a YouTube channel and post all your videos there. More than 1 billion unique users visit YouTube every month, so you’ll want your content to be available to all those potential customers! Even beyond YouTube itself, videos are highly sharable on other social networks. More than 500 years of YouTube video are watched every day on Facebook, and more that 700 YouTube videos are shared on Twitter each minute. That’s right, each minute. Social media has a far reach, so make sure you have a strong presence for your brand in those channels.

4. Direct Mail & Email

Data sourced from Get Response showed that for more than 800,000 emails sent, those with video received an average of 5.6% higher open rates and 96.4% higher click-through rates than emails without video. And that’s just one test group! Forrester research showed an increase in click-through rates of 200-300% when businesses include video in their emails. Are you convinced yet? Get those videos into the emails you send out!

Watching videos is a mainstream activity these days. In fact, 55% of Americans say they watch videos every day. If you put your brand’s videos online and in your emails, and promote them through social media and TV when you can, people will see them.  Now spread the word, and get those potential customers watching your video!
