May 3, 2013, Lawrenceville, GA. – Rock, Paper, Scissors is pleased to announce the return of Barefoot in the Park to Downtown Duluth’s Town Green on Saturday, May 11, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Sunday, May 12, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Barefoot in the Park celebrates its 9th consecutive year of fine arts by hosting an artist market, live performances and activities that engage all interests and ages. Drawing crowds from greater Metro Atlanta, Barefoot not only attracts an array of well-established, highly respected local and regional artists, but also supports emerging talent by exposing new artists to the public and by funding scholarships for students pursuing the arts.

“Everyone at Rock, Paper, Scissors is passionate about Barefoot’s role in building awareness and also appreciation for the arts throughout Gwinnett,” says Cindy Sutt, Creative Director of Rock, Paper, Scissors and a founder of the festival. “Thanks to all who have been involved, and certainly those who come out to enjoy the festival, the caliber of our juried artists’ market continues to be more impressive each year. Barefoot, therefore, affords the rare opportunity for those just beginning their original art collection and seasoned collectors to meet and purchase original art from many noteworthy individuals.”

In addition to the wide variety of artwork available to appreciate and purchase, the full experience includes a Children’s Arts Tent, an Adult Learning Village, Wine Tasting, a Student Art Exhibit, a fundraising Gala on Saturday evening, and a multicultural live music and dance, a selection is listed:
