We started back in the eighties when big hair, cassette tapes, and Bobby Brown were cool. Back then the only designer was Cindy Sutt and she worked out of her basement studio as CynDesign. A few years later in 1996, Cindy recruited Randy, her husband, to join her business as the pre-press guru. Ran the Man named his division of the company ARC Digital Imagers. Eventually, the two decided that it would be a good idea to combine their businesses and move into a cute little cave on West Lawrenceville Street.
Business was good, real good. Both companies were growing quickly, but Cindy and Ran the Man got tired of only bossing each other around. They decided it was time to hire new people to boss around and that's when Rock, Paper, Scissors was born. While other small firms have come and gone over the past twenty years, RPS has managed to stay afloat. You couldn't beat us down if you tried. Our clients dig us and keep us around for a reason: we are pretty damn amazing. Once they work with us they seldom leave. With all this amazing talent that we possess, we like to be able to share our amazing-ness with the community. We're the marketing and graphic sponsor for the Aurora Theatre, we're members of Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce, and we helped start the totally sweet Barefoot in the Park - Fine Arts Festival... have you been to it? You should so go. Cindy is also a member of Rotary Club of Duluth, the Maxwell High School Advisory Committee, on the Aurora Theatre Board, and a Nominee for the Governor's Council for the Arts. Ran the Man helps out with the Lawrenceville Tourism and Trade Association, the Aurora Theatre Board of Directors, is a choir- boy [bass], and occasionally performs interpretive dance for the Metro Atlanta Art Coalition Council. |
