The short but interesting history of Rock, Paper, Scissors
This is definitely the Cliff Notes of our company history – enjoy.
Cindy Sutt started CynDesign back in 1986 when big hair, cassette tapes, and Bobby Brown were cool. A decade later Randy Sutt joined the business as the pre-press and digital imaging guru and started ARC Digital Imagers. Not too long after, the two had a great opportunity to move into a studio warehouse space in Duluth, merged they two companies to create Rock, Paper, Scissors and the rest is history.
Amanda Sutt joined the RPS team as art director a few years ago. She keeps things running pretty smooth. Though the picture isn’t complete without talking about our amazing team. This is the finest group of designers, developers, copywriters and artisans on the planet. Check out them out on the TEAM page.
As a company, Rock, Paper, Scissors has always shared their talents with the community at large, volunteering their time and talents to local theaters and a slew of non-profits. Most notably, they helped start the very popular Barefoot in the Park Fine Arts Market, now in its ninth season.
